When did you start business ?
THE CLEANING AGENTS was established some fifteen years ago as a family run company specialising in cleaning properties that have, due to varying circumstances been left in a state of neglect.
Over the years, taking professional courses we have dealt successfully with fire & flood damage and very serious cases of gross trauma.
How Much are your Services ?
Before we answer that question we will always make an appointment to meet with you on site to discuss what is required. It could be a simple carpet clean nevertheless, we still like to see how much furniture we have to move (because we will move all moveable furniture and return the piece to its original place with foil pads under the feet to protect your carpet) and also to measure the carpet/s to ensure that we give you the best possible price.
Similarly, on all other works we come to your property to view the job that you have asked us to quote for in order that we can give you the most competitive price on a like for like basis.
Who will do the job ?
Simply put, we will. The company is owned and run by us, Steve & Jennie Randall. Therefore, we will personally visit each job, our quotation will be from either one of us and we do the job. We have people we call on, electricians, plumbers, gardeners and spare labour for those heavy works (shifting furniture for example), all of whom are personally vetted by us and have worked for us previously so we know them and the quality of their work. Your job is important to us, as is our reputation for quality work. You are the Customer, you count.
What about VAT (especially for domestic/residential works)?
Currently, we are under the VAT threshold so, no there is no VAT applicable on our works. It only applies on such things as paint or other items in decorating for which you would have to pay in any case. Our quoted price to you is the only price you pay. There are no extras at that point. Should you require more then by agreement the price is altered to suit.
How long will it take?
It depends on what works you are having. Rest assured, we will minimise any disruption to your day and work around your arrangements. For Commercial customers, this means we will clean your carpets in the office at week-ends. Your employees will arrive on Monday morning to find their office space clean – a good start to the week !!
Do you take credit cards?
No. I’m afraid we do not. However, we take personal/business cheques or cash payments. For businesses, we can discuss terms based around monthly payments on receipt of invoice. All payments are receipted for your records.
